Customs
Rwanda is an EAC (East African Community) member and applies the EAC Common External Tariff (0–25%). No de minimis for personal shipments — customs duty and VAT 18% apply from the first value. Rwanda has comparatively good customs infrastructure for the region — clearance via Kigali International Airport takes 3–7 days. Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) manages customs administration.

- CN22 is a simplified customs declaration for parcels up to 2 kg and €270 in value. Completed at the post office or generated by the carrier. Without CN22, the parcel may be held at customs.
