FAQ

What people ask most

Which carrier is cheapest for a parcel to Germany?
expand_more
For a parcel up to 5 kg, Eurosender (from ~4 €) or GLS (from ~5 €) are typically cheapest. DHL Express costs 30–50% more but is much faster. For parcels over 10 kg, Eurosender is usually best value.
What is a CN22 customs declaration and when do I need it?
expand_more
CN22 is a simplified customs declaration for shipments outside the EU up to €300 in value and 2 kg in weight. You need it for every shipment to the USA, UK or other non-EU countries. Most carriers generate it automatically during online booking.
How can I track a parcel when the carrier hasn't given me a tracking number?
expand_more
Carriers must always provide a tracking number — check your spam folder. For DPD use dpd.com, for DHL use dhl.com, for UPS use ups.com. Parcels without a tracking number cannot be traced and have a higher risk of loss.
How much does it cost to send a parcel to the USA?
expand_more
A 1 kg parcel to the USA costs from ~33 € (postal economy, 2–4 weeks) to ~100 € (DHL Express, 2–4 days). Best price-to-speed ratio is DPD or Eurosender at ~48–60 €.
What items are prohibited in international parcels?
expand_more
Items banned in most countries: loose lithium batteries (not inside a device), liquids over 1 L, flammables, weapons and parts, drugs, counterfeits and live animals. Some countries also restrict alcohol, tobacco or meat products.
How should I pack a parcel so the carrier accepts it?
expand_more
Basic rules: sturdy cardboard box (not food packaging), at least 5 cm of padding on all sides (bubble wrap or paper), sealed with at least 3 strips of tape top and bottom, weight evenly distributed. Pack fragile items separately inside the box.
